2 Week Diet Plan

As I get older I find it harder and harder to lose weight. Here is a diet plan that I've tried twice already:

1 grapefruit

1 egg

1 slice of bread

1 cup of tea

1 grapefruit

1 cup of tea

tofu

cucumber, carrot, celery salad with vinegrette dressing

1 cup of tea

Day-2

1 grapefruit

1 egg

1 slice of bread

1 cup of tea

1 grapefruit

1 egg

1 cup of tea

steak (80-100 g)

tomato, celery salad with vinegrette dressing

1 cup of tea

Day-31 grapefruit

1 egg

1 cup of tea

1 grapefruit

1 slice of bread

vege salad

1 cup of tea

tofu or chicken

tomato, celery salad with vinegrette dressing

1 cup of tea

Day-4

1 grapefruit

1 egg

1 cup of tea

1 grapefruit

1 slice of bread

vege salad

1 cup of tea

tofu

cheese

spinache

1 cup of tea

Day-5

1 grapefruit

1 slice f bread

1 cup of tea

The Results

For the first time I managed to lose 8 lbs (didn't have a body fat percentage weight), and the second try I managed to lose 5 lbs and 3% of body fat probably because I cheated in some of the meals.

How it Works?

I don't know the absolute details of why this diet works, however I believe there are factors:

  1. This diet is very low calories, probably less than 1000 calories per day.
  2. You eat two grapefruits per day which has some fat burning properties.
